Adidas commissioned us to create an interactive running installation for their flagship store in London and Beijing.
In order to elevate the conventional in-store running experience, we wanted to create a system that would allow the users to test the Adidas shoes by running through their city streets, mixed together with graphic elements drawn from the wider store identity.
First, I worked on the photo shoot of the streets in London to capture all the original content for the experience. These were fed into a custom software, made with Unity. Then, I was able to design and create multiple layouts within the software, and develop a graphic and visual style around the photos. The variety we were able to create enhanced the depth and complexity of the visual experience, and helped to immerse the user into the Adidas universe.
